The village lies about an hour down the hill from NH - 58, the only road connecting the village to Ranikhet and other parts. There is no vehicular access within the villages but the well maintained walkways mean it is easily managed on foot. Although donkeys can be arranged by advance request, hopping around the bridle paths is a great way to soak up the village atmosphere.
Foreign exchange bureaus are hard to find outside Delhi, so it is worth exchanging your currency there before heading north. ATMs are available in Ranikhet, about 10km away.
Groceries and supplies
There are a few basic grocery supply stores in the village. Most general things are available in Ranikhet, but it is advisable to bring any personal medication and toiletries to last the duration of the trip.
Telecommunications and internet
Although most major cellphone networks work here, connectivity can be sporadic at times. Ranikhet is the nearest point for internet connectivity.
The closest medical centre to the villages is Ranikhet hospital.
